About the Artists PETER KING Born in Leicester, Peter has travelled extensively around the world, and has painted in many countries. Whilst in South Africa in the 70's, he studied under Sydney Goldblatt in Johannesburg. He works in oils and watercolour, and has a love of a wide range of subjects. He paints anything from flowers to steam engines, but enjoys being out in the open air, and finds inspiration in the Cornish countryside, where he lives. He
worked for a number of years for Hockin & Roberts, but now teaches
oil and watercolour painting for three days a week throughout Cornwall,
thus leaving himself time to produce his own original work.
